What clients say about the cupping here
“He was able to tell me the meridian lines, what organs were deficient, and talk about where my qi was stagnated (I knew all of this but wanted to see how knowledgeable he was).”
“He is a great listener and pays close attention to signals my body may be giving off to know exactly which of his precise methods to use.”
From the reviews
Jacob does incredible work! He takes the time and attention to really get to know you and genuinely cares about your well-being physically, emotionally, and spiritually. He's incredibly smart and knowledgeable and had detailed and thoughtful answers to all of my questions.
I come from a family of generational acupuncturists and healers but they live in Asia so I was looking for an acupuncturist in the states. I’ve been to a bunch and couldn’t find a legit one in the states. I gave Jacob a try and I’m so glad I did! I tested him telling him vaguely that my back hurt.
Jacob is the best acupuncturist I’ve ever been to! I met Jacob about 4 years ago and he has since been my go to for any injuries or overall well being. He is very through with his approach and takes his time in explaining what is going on and what can help me.
Love 🥰 so much love i can not express the level of joy i have after each treatment it is life changing. When you find the modality that works for you it’s amazing. For me its a cupping modality.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
