From the reviews

Body works health and wellness has great massage therapists! I typically prefer deep tissue and more firm styles and both Johnny and Kevin meet this for me. I’m a regular patient because of them and experience immediate relief from muscle tension and tightness after massages with them.

I received a 55-minute massage here yesterday (with a Groupon), and it was amazing!!! I'm unsure of the therapists name whom I received one from, but the experience is unforgettable!

★★★★★ — Hope, Apr 2021

I came in for a deep tissue massage and left feeling so loose and relaxed. Izzy did a great job! He was friendly and really knows his stuff. He asked questions to see what areas required extra attention and applied more/less pressure as needed. I will most definitely be back!

★★★★★ — Madison, Apr 2023

I’ve been coming here for 3+ years and I have nothing but good things to say about it. They have a waitlist for massages for a reason— if you become a member though, they prioritize scheduling you & it’s well worth it. Wayne is so talented and gives massages that are unmatched. I couldn’t recommend him enough!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
