From the reviews
I cannot recommend Bo enough! From the moment I walked into her practice, I felt completely at ease. Bo has been instrumental in my healing journey through acupuncture and cupping, and I’ve experienced incredible results with my chronic pain disappearing.
I found BO Acupuncture on Google and gave it a try. I wish I had found her earlier. In just two sessions, Bo has relieved my back pain which had been torturing me for months and Physical therapy and other methods failed. Bo is very knowledgeable and professional in Chinese Traditional Medicine and therapy.
I started seeing Bo after trying to get pregnant for over 7 months. After just one month of acupuncture and cupping with her, I became pregnant. I have now given birth to my daughter!! A baby Bo helped bring into this world. Bo is not only extremely knowledgeable, but also so kind, compassionate, and deeply caring.
I been suffering from plantar fasciitis for a while and nothing seems to help. I was extremely afraid of needles but after everything else all failed decided to give acupuncture a try. Bo was extremely patient and informative to help me ease through my hesitations and fears.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
