From the reviews
From the very beginning of my massage, I could tell Melanie knew EXACTLY what she was doing. Each movement was intentional and backed with what I know is a very thorough knowledge of massage therapy. She released so much tension and even helped with some migraine relief.
Melanie is a truly incredible healer!! Her reiki/ energy healing abilities are undeniable and her massage and bodyworking techniques helped my shoulder where no other techniques had even come close. I highly encourage everyone to experience her gifts! Thank you for the work you are doing Melanie!! 😊💝
Melanie is amazing and you can tell that she genuinely cares about your experience and your progress. Her background in the medical field makes her more attuned to what your body is going through and how to properly address your concerns.
Melanie is an outstanding massage therapist! I deal with chronic shoulder pain, and I felt so much better after just one visit with her. Highly recommend!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
