From the reviews

I cannot recommend Lynn highly enough. Her blend of craniosacral therapy and massage services are unlike anything I have experienced. She is not just skilled; she is truly an expert with a deep, intuitive understanding of anatomy, the nervous system, and how the body holds tension.

I found Lynn while searching for a therapist to help with my chronic migraine pain. She offers both Craniosacral therapy and standard massage therapy, which are ideal for me. After just a few sessions I have experienced some relief in the frequency and intensity of my symptoms.

I've been in pain for the past 5 months. Shoulder pain and back pain with no relief. My niece gave me a gift of a massage with New Bern Intuitive Wellness. I could hardly believe how I felt when I left there today. No pain! No back pain, no shoulder pain!

★★★★★ — Julie, Sep 2021

Wow. I don't know where to begin. I sought spiritual guidance in finding this therapist. I got above and beyond what I asked for. I will go back to her. She helped me heal more in me then anyone ever has in any kind of counseling or spiritual practice.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
