From the reviews
I had such a wonderful experience with Dr. Bryn. I went in for acupuncture and cupping, and the entire session was incredibly relaxing and restorative. From the beginning, she took the time to really listen to my needs and made me feel completely comfortable and cared for throughout the process.
I had a great first experience with Dr. Bryn at Austin Transformational Health. She considered both my physical condition and mental stresses to create an acupuncture and cupping treatment that worked for me! Relaxing and relieving, really great energy here!
I recently started seeing Dr. Bryn and her team at Austin Transformational and it's already made the quality of my life improve tenfold. I've been dealing with a lot of lower back and neck pain as a result of a pretty bad car wreck and after having just a few treatments done by Dr. Bryn, Kimett and Dr.
After a 2019 accident left me with chronic leg pain, I sought out Dr. Bryn for acupuncture. From our first consultation, her warm and professional approach made me feel completely at ease. The results were immediate; after just a few treatments, my pain was drastically reduced.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
