From the reviews

I’m a huge fan of Architect Sports! For years, I tried supplements to relieve my neck pain, but nothing worked for the long term. When I hit my 50s, the chronic aches only got worse. My primary care physician suggested physical therapy: a path I had never considered. Now, I know this is what I needed all along.

★★★★★ — Juliane, Jan 2026

I’ve been a patient of Devon’s for about six months now, and I followed him from his previous location. The caliber of person Devon is—as a PT, athlete, business owner, and mentor—is impressive, to say the least.

★★★★★ — Mason, Dec 2025

33-year-old male: I’ve dealt with debilitating back pain for years, stemming from years of contact sports and have pretty much tried it all — chiropractic care, injections, and multiple physical therapists throughout the Charlotte area. Devon has easily been the best.

★★★★★ — Tomas, Oct 2025

Devon is an amazing physical therapist! He’s incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely cares about his patients’ recovery. From the very first session, he took the time to understand my specific issues and explain everything in a way that actually made sense.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
