From the reviews

At the recommendation of a co-worker I looked to make a appointment and graciously they were able to see me same day. Sabine was friendly and helpful in getting me set up as a first time client.

★★★★★ — Aaron, Apr 2019

One of the better massages I've had. Sabine is great and always has good conversation with plenty of stories from her homeland, Germany. It's a good massage depending on my droop factor and the quickness it begins. Those who know massages understand where I'm coming from here. I came in with pain in my shoulder area.

★★★★★ — Joseph, Nov 2017

Sabine and Ken are the very best I have found. I suffer a lot of pain and Sabine has helped me more than any doctor or chiropractor ever has. They are bouth accredited and have lots of extra training that surpasses most therapist. Sabine even CURED my heal pain by streching the tendens in my leg.

★★★★★ — Sam, Jan 2013

Sabine always gives wonderful massages. I look forward to every visit. It's a small, well-kept place. Very relaxing.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
