From the reviews

I’ve seen Dr. Scott now for 3 sessions and am already seeing tremendous improvement in my shoulders, neck, and upper traps through exercises, cupping, and adjustment. I was referred by friends and am so happy I’ve followed through with their recommendations.

Dr. Scott is the absolute best!! He has been such a huge asset in my marathon training, there is no way I would have gotten to this point without him. He truly cares about how you’re doing and wants you to keep him updated.

★★★★★ — Megan, Sep 2025

I rarely leave Google reviews, but this one is absolutely earned. Dr. Jablonka and the entire Carolina Movement Doc / Immortal Athletics team are exceptional. From day one, the approach was thoughtful, data-driven, and intentional — not cookie-cutter physical therapy. Every session had purpose.

★★★★★ — Justin, Feb 2026

If you're looking for relaxation, Mikey is not your guy. But if you're looking for a sports massage that will improve your workouts and recovery time, look no further. Every session with Mikey Black is focused on results that keep you moving and performing at your best.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
