I found AQ Spa 518 when I was searching for a spa open in Sundays. I had a wonderful 90 minute massage and cupping. Loved that the hot stones were included for free. The spa is very clean and quiet. Prices were extremely reasonable. I would definitely go back again.
It’s more like relax massage which I wasn’t looking for because I have a pain on my neck and my back. But I asked the massage therapist to massage harder on my neck and she did it pretty good. My body feel better. Definitely come back. Thank you so much for hard work.
I frequently suffer from migraines caused by tension in my shoulders and neck. A friend recommended Andy to me, so I called AQ to book a one-hour massage for that very afternoon. After carefully asking about my condition, Andy began the session.
Overall great massage! I loved the focus on my neck and shoulders, but wish it would have been a more full-body experience. Hot stones were amazing! I definitely left relaxed and free of the knots and stress that I had. Pricing is great and staff is kind.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
