From the reviews

Hurt my knee at work and was hoping to find a great place for some PT. I had no idea where to go, and luckily, I reached out to CMPT and they got back to me pronto. Morgan was my Physical Therapist and she was great. She listened to my concerns and gave me some great exercises to take home once my PT was done.

★★★★★ — Helena, Oct 2025

I went to CMPT after finishing in-home physical therapy for a total hip replacement. After an initial consultation to evaluate my condition and establish a baseline, I started working with Carly to continue my recovery from surgery and deal with long-term pain I had adjacent to and below my right knee.

★★★★★ — Ray, May 2026

I have been a patient here with Grace Naylor DPT since 11/25. Originally receiving successful PT for a foot issue and later for a bilateral shoulder issue. I cannot say enough good about Grace’s abilities as a PT and her total professionalism.

★★★★★ — Robin, May 2026

If you are looking for a place for physical therapy, you found it. Seriously. Call them now. I have had nothing short of an amazing experience at Central Mass Physical Therapy. I have been going twice a week for several months for shoulder issues, and I never had one bad visit.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
