From the reviews
I’ve had many massages throughout the city, but my first session with Chris was truly on another level. I was blown away by her deep knowledge of lymphatic drainage and the unique techniques she incorporates. Unlike a standard massage, she integrates cupping, steaming, and hot stones for a multi-sensory experience.
Chris was incredible! I have pelvic floor issues and she was so helpful and knowledgeable. The massage was wonderful and I truly felt much better all weekend. I also really appreciated that she wanted to hear more about my pelvic floor issues so that she could help future patients.
Hands down, this was the best massage I’ve ever had. From the moment you arrive, the presentation alone is breathtaking. Chris’s hospitality immediately puts you at ease, and the sit-down conversation before the session felt almost therapeutic in itself.
My massage today with Chris was exceptional. She took time at the beginning to offer me water and tea, and consult with me about my needs, taking into account my occupation, exercise routine and any concerns I had. The atmosphere of the studio is very welcoming and relaxing, with lots of plants and warmth.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
