From the reviews
I have been having physiotherapy at Hands of Hope since July 2024. The therapists are very knowledgeable and professional. They take time to assess your physical conditions and tailor your workouts to suit. I have recommended Hands of Hope to my friends and they are also enjoying better health .
If you have pain, don’t wait. I had such a wonderful experience with the staff’s attention and dedication to each patient’s healing. Shoutout to Matthew and Aditi who particularly got my back in much better shape than how I started, teaching me tools to go forward with on my own.
I just started here last week and my first experience was great. The staff seemed very helpful and welcoming. However, my second visit felt different. I was told to do the movements but was mostly left on my own without much supervision, aside from a bell to ring when I finished.
Great place love the therapists. Sometimes they seem busy and forget that I'm done with an exercise so I don't love that. I also wish they did more hands on massage. But overall its a good spot. They are very flexible with appointments and always seem to be able to make room. I like the ease of scheduling.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
