From the reviews
…If there is a particular problem area, she may use cupping or the massage gun. If an area needs to be focused on outside of treatment, she educates me regarding what is wrong and what exercises or stretching I can do to help alleviate the problem.
…Depending on the situation, she may incorporate techniques such as red-light therapy, fire cupping, craniosacral work, stretching, and therapeutic oils. What makes her especially unique is her intuition, warmth, and sense of humor, which create a deeply relaxing and restorative experience every time.
…Nayelli's intuitive ability to find and clear areas of dis-ease is incredible, and I particularly love her fire cupping! She also incorporates cutting-edge technology, like red light therapy, with more traditional modalities (craniosacral / massage / bodywork / yoga), which is super cool.
I have been getting treatments from Nayelli for about 3 weeks now, not only has my back pain has decreased significantly, but I am sleeping much better at night with almost no pain. I have a herniated disc and have had back pain for about 7 months.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
