What clients say about the cupping here
“I was already spending a ton of time on mobility work, stretching, and recovery, but the pain and limited range of motion were holding me back.”
“She always takes the time at the beginning of each session to thoroughly go over my health and symptoms so she truly understands the correct treatment.”
“Tara always takes the time to explain things throughly whenever I had any question and I can be comfortable with her and have open discussions.”

“After competing at a high level in CrossFit for many years, I developed chronic shoulder and hip injuries that just wouldn’t go away.”
“She wasn't pressuring me to 'only do acupuncture' either, it was a well rounded consultation taking in all of the variables- making this journey feel highly customized, for the first time.”
From the reviews
Tara’s magic needles helped me conceive. I have PCOS and started acupuncture treatments with Tara in September 2020. At first I was doing it only once every 2-3 weeks, and my Basel body temperature stayed low.
I have been struggling with unexplained infertility for 3+ years and am at my wits end with Western medicine. Tara came highly recommended to me by a colleague after (another) unsuccessful round of IVF and, after an initial phone consultation, I can see why.
Tara is great! Let me start by saying I was never a fan of acupuncture and I loathe needles. My first stab at it was about ten years ago with someone who I'm sure was good, but she was very stern personality wise...Only stuck a couple needles in me and I wasn't having it. After the treatment I never went back.
I highly recommend working with Tara if you are looking to add acupuncture sessions while going through IVF/pregnancy journey. I started my sessions back in April 2025 and was looking for acupuncturist who specializes in fertility treatments/prenatal care, and I feel so fortunate to have found her practice.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
