From the reviews
Dr. Angela Caraza is not only my favorite chiropractor I've been to, but also one of my favorite acupuncturists. I've been seeing Dr. Caraza for over a year now.
Elements of Wellness was such a gem to find. The facility has a relaxing atmosphere and is incredibly clean which is a must for treatments like acupuncture. Victoria at the front desk is polite and welcoming whether you're making an appointment or when you're walking in for treatment.
I can’t say enough about Elements of Wellness and my acupuncturist, Linda Vu. I came in struggling with nerve damage in my foot, which affected both my mobility and my daily comfort. From the very first session, Linda has been attentive, compassionate, and committed to helping me improve.
I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Dr. Caraza at my acupuncture sessions! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was calming and professional, making the entire process incredibly pleasant. Dr.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
