From the reviews
I recently had my first massage experience with Renee, and it was absolutely fantastic! Despite feeling extremely nervous and tense initially, Renee's patience and kindness made the experience extra special.
Renee is truly a rare gem—someone everyone deserves to have in their life! From the very first moment I met her, she created an atmosphere that felt instantly comforting and safe. Her techniques are unmatched. She has the perfect balance of being therapeutic, gentle, and firm enough to work out even the toughest knots.
Renee has such a gift. She also sends helpful tips to maintain between my sessions. The cupping is also a wonderful addition. She always takes the time to understand my pain points and used the perfect pressure throughout. My shoulders and lower back always leave happy! Truly skilled and professional.
Renee is such a beautiful, genuine caring person and the cherry on top is that she's also a great massage therapist! I go to ZenBloom for a 90-minute full-body massage with silicone cupping. Every session will start with a thoughtful conversation about what has been bothering me and what to avoid.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
