From the reviews
…Iris suggested cupping and Himalayan salt/basalt hot stones to further enhance my therapeutic massage. After the session, i felt a marked reduction in pain and my mobility improved. I've had chronic muscle pain for over 15 years and seek massage to reduce the pain.
…I had a 90-minute deep tissue massage with cupping, and the results were immediate—my neck, shoulders, and back felt noticeably looser and pain-free! The environment is warm, clean, and inviting, with the perfect balance of lighting, aromatherapy, and soothing music.
…I asked for deep tissue today due to some neck pain and the static and dynamic cupping and trigger point along the top ridge of my scapula was helpful. The room’s ambiance is very comforting and relaxing. And the addition of cupping, hot stones, hot towels, and heated table help transition into a relaxed state.
Iris is a caring and knowledgeable masseuse. She carefully explains what each service is beneficial for and offers several enhancements to a basic massage. She can do multiple types of cupping and other things for sports or fitness recovery. Strongly recommend her!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
