I had such a wonderful experience at this head spa! The space was incredibly clean, peaceful, and quiet—perfect for truly unwinding. I visited Zen Oasis Beauty & Spa yesterday for a scalp treatment, and it was an amazing experience! Before and after the treatment, they did a scalp test and showed me the results — honestly, I felt like I hadn’t cleaned my scalp in over 30 years! 😅 After the treatment, my whole head felt lighter and so refreshed.
This was my best deep tissue massage yet! When I go to other places it’s usually too soft and when I ask a little harder I get killed. But here my masseuse Bella knew exactly where I was in pain without me telling her. It was perfect! She hit every knot and was so great with applying the right pressure!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
