From the reviews

THE BEST!!! I love this place. I've had 5 sessions here (each session I had included cupping, massage and acupuncture) and it was definitely worth it. Doctor Yang resolve my back and shoulder pain, will continue coming.

★★★★★ — Fang, Nov 2023

I was slightly nervous about coming to a clinic for my knee pain during this pandemic, but Dr. Yang was very warm and friendly and she made me feel very comfortable during my stay at Zen Acupuncture. The place is new, spacious, and very clean.

Thank you very much, Dr. Yang, for your treatment today. You helped me recover my limping foot, which has been walking for half a year due to knee injury caused by falling, to almost normal walking. It made me cry with joy.

★★★★★ — Annie, Nov 2021

I been seeing Doctor Yang for weeks. She healed my headache caused by falling. She been doing face lifting for me too. I can tell my face contour is more clear now!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
