I signed up for a membership before ever trying this place and I do not regret it. The spa is clean and everything you need for a relaxation. There is a warm and cold tub with a dry and eucalyptus steam room. They have really nice salt scrubs for use in the steam room with plenty of showers.
Desmond is nothing short of a magician. I’ve had many massages over the years, but I have never experienced anything like this. His techniques are incredibly advanced, thoughtful, and completely customized to your body’s needs.
This was my first visit to the spa. My originally booked appointment had to be rescheduled due to the therapist being sick, and the staff person who reached out was so kind and accommodating. He was able to fit me in with another therapist for the same day. I was booked with Ash, who is fantastic!
I've been all over the place for massages and I can say this is truly the best!! This is the only place I want to come for a massage— especially the radiant foot treatment & crown to sole ritual. Their pressure is genuinely firm and effective, but they'll adjust to whatever you tell them.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
