From the reviews
Anne is a true miracle worker. I was referred to her my a co-worker and WOW was she right. I am currently seeing Anne to relieve pain due to an inflamed SI joint. I hobbled into her office and walked out. Each visit has brought a decrease in pain and improved mobility. She is very reassuring, calming and knowledgeable.
The best! Anne is an incredible practitioner and seeing her is the highlight of my week/month. She has made my pregnancy a breeze! Another perk is the location is amazing and her space is stylish and relaxing!
I’ve seen several acupuncturists over the years, and for a long time I thought I’d never find anyone as amazing as the practitioner I used to see (he was so amazing, I was willing to see him even though he was out of network!
I was experiencing lots of neck, shoulder and low back pain. I’m not a big fan of taking pills to make my pain go away I’d rather correct the problem. I had tried physical therapy for years but never got much in the way of results. I heard many positive things about acupuncture and the great results.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
