The front desk staff is warm and friendly. I had a very pleasant experience with my massage therapist Ruiqi. She's knowledgeable and caring. I felt relaxed and recharged after our 90 minutes massage + cupping session and immediately scheduled another session with her. Highly recommend!
I went for massages with Ruici about four or five times, and she’s truly an amazing therapist. I always had great experiences with her, which is why I kept going back. However, during my last visit in Spring 2024, she scratched my scalp far too intensely for about five minutes.
Ruiqi Gave me the best massage I have ever had in my entire life. She was very professional and skillful. She made me feel comfortable and cared about my health. She’s the entire reason I went to this location. I plan on getting massages from her monthly. I was astounded by her great care and detail.
Ruiqi did an excellent job! I requested a firm deep tissue massage, and that's what I got. She communicated well with me to understand what she was doing and working on. I was greeted by the front desk. The studio was very clean, tidy, and a very welcoming and calming place.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
