Kai is the BEST. She’s helped me for YEARS. Pro tip: Book online. Don’t call her - she can’t answer while massaging. Don’t show up and expect a walk in. She’s one woman and VERY good at what she does. She books up fast. Plan ahead and be prepared for a tougher but very helpful massage. Thank you Kai!!
I’m a mess. I’ve played sports my whole life and have done extreme sports and have recklessly thrown my body around. I’m now 45 and dealing with inflammation in my lower back, upper back and neck and recently have been experiencing horrific headaches to the extent where I haven’t been able to sleep for more than a…
I had a lot of lower back pain on Sat, really tight and felt like I could not walk. Went to Kai, she worked on lower back and asked what happened. I tried to explain, but she figured it out, my back, my leg.
Kai is seriously the best masseuse I’ve ever had. And I’ve had MANY, from low range to high range, Chinese Tui Na to Traditional Thai massage. I love a good deep tissue and she doesn’t hesitate to go for all of my knots. Her fingers and toes know where the tight spots are and I’m always thinking….
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
