From the reviews
I developed a dorsal scapular nerve compression from scoliosis and have had pretty severe neck and shoulder pain with muscle spasms. I've had 3 sessions of acupuncture and cupping with Dr. Leslie.
From the moment I walked in until the moment I left, I felt peace and care. The most amazing experience in years. I am recommend Dr. Leslie to anyone who wants to relieve pain both physically and emotionally.
HEALING AND CONTINUED HEALING! From the inside out! At first, I was skeptical because I have been dealing with difficult health issues for so many years with no lasting improvements.
I came to Dr. Leslie at Yin Fire Holistic Health seeking support for anxiety, stress, and depression—and I’m so glad I did. From the very first appointment, Dr. Leslie made me feel heard and understood.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
