From the reviews

Working with JR has been an incredible, pain shifting experience. I have chronic tick borne disease and have had a lot of body pain. JR always hits the right spots, and had even taught me stretches that have been immensely helpful. 🙏

It’s tough to find a skilled, professional masseuse who is also affordable. This is the third place I’ve been to in the Providence area, and they deserve the praise. I look forward to going back soon.

From the start the owner was very communicative and attentive, texting me details and even when they unexpectedly had to change my appointment time, she was diligent at making sure I was ok with the time. I enjoyed my time there and Donna was both professional and attentive to my individual needs.

★★★★★ — Robert, Jan 2020

I had the best experience with Ni’cole! I felt very taken care of, loved her knowledge of the body and the after care tips were super helpful. She was able to bring down my tension by working slow and being patient with my nervous system. I really appreciate working smarter and not harder. Hope to come visit again!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
