From the reviews

I have been seeing Courtney monthly for the past year and let me tell you, it’s my favorite day of the month. Courtney is very intuitive and reassuring when she works on your body. I suffer from severe chronic pain from an injury and the days after I see her I am almost entirely pain free.

★★★★★ — Kaitlin, Aug 2024

Rhode Island medical massage is incredible. Courtney is one of the most intelligent and relieving massage therapist I’ve known. She will give you a thorough pain relieving massage in a very tranquil setting and later let you know what else she may think can help your aches and pains.

I have been seeing Amanda Stone for a medical massage. I have ongoing hip issues, when a person has hip issues it can affect multiple areas of the body. I explained this, but she ended up finding several areas I didn't even know about that were causing pain in known areas. She was very thorough and understanding.

★★★★★ — Nessa, Mar 2025

Courtney expertise & medical knowledge takes these messages to a whole other level. I’m booked all the way through 26’ that’s how confident I am that this kind of treatment is like no other.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
