From the reviews
Sarah does a great job to individualize the experience and hone in on specific ailments, supporting health and wellness. She goes the extra length to ensure comfort and warmth during each session.
Sarah is wonderfully engaging and comforting. I left with a better understanding of acupuncture. I saw immediately results (which I was told doesn't always happen) I immediately booked a second appointment. I am looking forward to incorporating this into my life.
My experience with Sarah was so wonderful - professional, warm, and flexible in scheduling when I needed to be on a very specific timeline. I’d never considered acupuncture before, but when treatments were recommended as part of my IVF, I googled local places and stumbled across WellPoint.
I can't say enough about how wonderful Sarah is. I have a chronic condition that leaves me with extreme vertigo among a great deal of other symptoms. I was out of work and unable to drive due to this condition.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
