From the reviews

After many hip issues following three pregnancies, Core PT is the first place where I felt heard and saw improvement in my symptoms. I first saw them after lingering pain from my 3rd pregnancy and because of their care, I was able to get back to running after a long hiatus.

I am so thankful for the ladies here at CORE PT for helping me regain my strength postpartum. I took Katrina’s Restore Your Core series which was exactly what I needed, it was so nice to have a space to bring my baby while getting myself back in shape. It helped me soo much!!

★★★★★ — Lexine, Mar 2026

Went to Core with 3 areas of pain and discomfort. Was ordered to see PT twice a week for two months. Dina suggested one a week with exercises to be done at home. After 10 visits an extremely painful diagnosis of bursitis is gone. The other two are pretty much an after thought.

★★★★★ — Kenneth, May 2026

After tearing my meniscus in the fall, core was the first call I made. Theyve been extremely helpful getting me back to playing rugby snd being pain free. Thank you core! Special shoutout to Kate at the front desk for always bringing the vibes!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
