From the reviews
I was recommended to Woven Wellness and am so happy with my treatment! Devan is incredibly knowledgeable and skilled and was able to alleviate some chronic nerve pain I had been experiencing in my lower back/leg.
I’ve been coming to Weave for over a year now for acupuncture (Devan) and massage (Darragh) and it’ll take a lot of convincing to ever go anywhere else for either service again! I’ve worked with Devan on everything from fertility health and hormone balance, to neck and back pain.
I have never done acupuncture, cupping, or guasha before but after seeing Karleigh at Weave Wellness consistently for over four months now, I wish I didn't wait so long to try this treatment!
Karleigh was great! I have been dealing with a sports injury on my back and her techniques and skills around fire cupping and Gua Sha were not only relaxing but immediately effective. I also tried acupuncture with her after being quite skeptical about this type of therapy.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
