From the reviews

Dr. David is a CHAMPION! He is more than a health practitioner. He champions his clients to get very well! Love you Dr. David for TODAY for holding sacred space for me and being witness to my breakthrough. You were perfect!

★★★★★ — Latonia, Dec 2019

I had seriously injured my sciatica back in June. I could barely stand up straight, could not climb stairs and basically had a hard time moving at all. I began seeing David in July. His treatments were like a miracle worker.

★★★★★ — Mia, Oct 2020

The idea of being poked with tiny needles didn’t appeal to me, but my first treatment changed all of my hesitation. His office is nestled in a quiet wooded neighborhood of Baltimore that adds to the serene decor of his office suite.

★★★★★ — Andrea, Apr 2023

David is a thoughtful and insightful practitioner. He spends time with me during each session to determine what he needs to focus on during our treatments. I consider him a valued member of my medical health team.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
