From the reviews

If you ever thought about trying acupuncture, do yourself a solid and book an appt with Amanda or Erin at Third Space. I was moderately skeptical about acupuncture, but after hearing from so many friends that acupuncture provided some relief from their chronic pain issues, I kept an open mind about it and went to see…

I started seeing Erin Harden for overall wellbeing about 2 months ago. I am a long time sufferer of generalized anxiety, I have poor digestion, and a plethora of other chronic issues. Erin has truly changed me, my anxiety is completely at bay, I truly cannot remember the last time my mind has been this calm.

Amanda’s Accupuncture treatments have been a huge gift to me on my healing journey. Each session I am able to reflect on what my body has been going through the prior week and she is able to hand craft a treatment to best suit the healing energies I need that week.

★★★★★ — Kristen, Feb 2025

Amanda is an amazing acupuncturist!! Her varied treatments have greatly helped me with sleep, low mood and energy, as well as recovering from an extended respiratory illness. Each time, I have felt markedly better by the following day.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
