This is my go-to spa locale when I'm in town from NY. I absolutely love their hydrofacial and they have fantastic massage options for every range of need and preference. The first time I had acupuncture done was at Urban Oasis.
Rhonda at Urban Oasis is amazing. She did cupping and acupuncture to help with my PTSD and anxiety, and I left feeling calmer and more grounded than I have in a long time. She listened carefully, explained everything, and made me feel safe the whole time.
Me and my husband just received couple massages and man I’m so happy we decided to come here John took great care of me. I didn’t even know I had spots that needed attention but he paid attention to detail and now I’m feeling like a million bucks! We will be back for sure!
Last minute walk in today and was incredibly lucky the owner happened to have time to accommodate a much needed massage. From the moment I walked in, I felt at ease and relaxed. What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
