From the reviews
I have to rave about what a difference the team made for my pain: A month ago, a pinched nerve in my neck caused me a lot of pain in my left arm and shoulder. It happened suddenly overnight - after a week, the pain got so bad that it prevented me from even walking for more than 20 min.
I've seen a chiropractor off and on since I was 16 years old and have experienced a pretty wide spectrum of care. When I first contacted Dr. Lauren I was weary of going through the intake process at an office, only to find out I wouldn't be receiving the level of care I was searching for. Dr.
I recently moved to Nashville and had to leave the best chiropractor ever back home. I chose to come to Nashville Chiropractic because of the variety of services they offered and the background of the doctors. Having a background in sports therapy and working with athletes is exactly what I wanted. Dr. Rice was great!
I have had pain and limited mobility in my shoulder for over 2 years, and no one has been able to help me like Dr. Lauren. Both Ben and Lauren are great people and very knowledgeable professionals.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
