This was the best massage I've ever had! I left feeling soooo relaxed! Lauren worked the tight areas in my upper back and neck. She utilized tools such as cupping, hot stones, warm towels, etc that created a more comprehensive experience! She used pressure that really worked my tight muscles.

Lauren is the best massage therapist around! She makes sure she knows what you want and talks you through any soreness you have and how to make it better. She is extremely knowledgeable on body systems gives you a mini-biology lesson on how all the parts of the body interact. I always feel better when I leave.

What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
