Why Tucson Acupuncture Practice is listed — cupping is a treatment, not a Google category, so we only list a provider when there's real proof they offer it. From the reviews
I was in severe pain due to a cervical pinched nerve brought on by osteoarthritis. With an upcoming overseas painting trip I thought I would need to cancel. Not wanting to take gabapentin and narcotic pain killers I thought there must be a better way.

I have been going to Jason for years for relief from back pain, tinnitus and general "tune-ups." The treatments are painless, in fact, quite the opposite. During the period when he has left the room after setting the needles, I enter a state of complete relaxation and peace the likes of which I don't experience any…
My husband has been getting acupuncture treatment for chronic headaches and general fatigue, for which no other treatment has been effective. Jason has thoroughly and expertly explained his methods, and along with other exercises he recommended, the acupuncture treatments have been highly effective at reducing the…
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
