From the reviews

David is absolutely amazing!! I'd give him 10 stars! I've had lower back pain, neck pain, muscle tightness and everything else. Anything I throw at David, he's able to relieve. His acupuncture / cupping is a perfect combination! As a navy veteran, I was able to get the VA to cover it too.

★★★★★ — Amanda, Jul 2022

David's mastery of Acupuncture is quite astonishing, and the results are even better. David has treated me for years for a variety of ailments, and has addressed each one with absolute perfection.

★★★★★ — Jeff, Aug 2015

David Bell definitely has the gift of good acupuncture! He has been able to help with my back pain as well as getting my body back in balance. He great at incorporating others techniques that I have needed such as cupping. His experience and knowledge shows in his work.

My chronic low back pain has virtually disappeared since working with David Bell. He has a very unique approach to pain management and employs multiple techniques to combat the issues at hand.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
