What clients say about the cupping here
“Finding someone as skilled and knowledgeable about the muscular and skeletal relationship as Lizzie has made a significant difference for me.”
“Every session feels both deeply therapeutic and restorative; she’s not just working on muscles but actually listening to what your body is trying to say.”
“Lizzy has a great gift of body work, relaxation techniques, and skill all in a peaceful environment.”
From the reviews
Lizzy has really good listening skills. She’s a very experienced massage therapist and knows a lot of different ways to help treat your aching body! Lizzy has super strong hands (and arms) and is able to perfectly control the amount of pressure you are asking for. She has great physical stamina and patience.
Lizzy is hands down one of the best massage therapists I’ve ever worked with. She has an incredible intuitive sense—somehow finding exactly where the body needs attention without you having to say a word.
Lizzy’s got some seriously magic hands—the kind you end up telling your friends about because it’s just too good not to share. I walked in feeling tight and beat up, and she somehow found every knot like she’s known my body forever.
Lizzy is an amazing massage therapist! I came to her with some soft tissue issues that I have been having following neck surgery and she is very adaptable in the amount of pressure that she uses. I have had several skilled practitioners work on me before and Lizzie really stands out in manual skills.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
