I have been coming to Martis Valley Massage since the beginning and have always had wonderful experiences. I have had many different masseuses over the years and all are good with a wide variety of knowledge and techniques. Now with the addition of all the spa amenities it can't be beat.
Martis Valley spa is a very nice facility. The owners are awesome and staff are very friendly. My husband got me a very nice robe from them that I wear almost every morning while having my morning coffee and I love it since it’s very comfortable!!!
Really beautiful, well appointed spa. Everything was so nice and well thought out. My massage was Faith was the best one I had ever had- it was incredible!
I went with my daughter and sister in law to get pedicures and we were treated like royalty. We were able to sit together and the super friendly staff (especially Tatiana) made sure it was a relaxing experience. The products were all organic and the scrub they used smelled divine. Highly recommend!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
