Why Transformations Wellness Integrative Therapies is listed — cupping is a treatment, not a Google category, so we only list a provider when there's real proof they offer it. Here's what we found: “ny number of massage styles in singular or combination such as Swedish Massage, Lymphatic Stimulating VacuTherapy, and/or Neuromuscular Therapy. May also include any combination of add-ons such as trigger point therapy, cupping, hot stones…” source →

Chana is highly experienced and well versed in a variety of unique techniques I haven't found elsewhere in Cheyenne, such as Myofacial Release or cupping. Definitely a cut above standard massage therapists!

★★★★★ — Travis, May 2018

I have been getting massages here on a regular basis for 10 years and I highly recommend! I used to work at a salon where we had several massage therapists that I went to and by far Chahna's massages are the best I've ever had.

★★★★★ — Andrea, May 2018

I've been seeing Chahna for over 10 years, and I would highly recommend her! I was so tired of going to other massage therapists who were either too rough and made me feel worse, or just didn't really know what they were doing. Chahna is professional and is always up to date with training and education.

★★★★★ — Jeannie, May 2018

Chahna's has over a decade of experience running her one-woman massage business. During your time with her, you are her only focus. She works hard to customize the massage for you to make it the best massage for you she can. She takes good notes so she remembers for the next time how she customized for you.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
