The work that Natalie does is nothing less than amazing. I have a hypermobile connective tissue disorder in which my body dislocates and subluxates at the drop of a dime. Natalie would always be able to correct my dislocations and restore my body which would make me feel immediately better.
After getting in a wreck, Chad worked wonders on my "how are you feeling?" shrug answers. A lovely human and a very very good investment in health and body wellness. I cannot overstate what Chad and Transcend Healing did for me.
I have had a shoulder that was stiff and painful for 4 months, could barely raise my arm to put it on the steering wheel when I was driving. I rested it, iced it, heated it and used a TENS unit. It just was not getting better.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
