From the reviews

I’ve suffered from massive migraines since the age of 14 which has been extremely difficult to treat. I’ve tried a bid deal number of medications, numerous tests and everything has always come back normal. I started seeing Jeanny 10 years ago and on and, she has been my only saver.

I have nothing but the utmost respect and praise for the work Jeanny does. She is the most caring and compassionate healthcare professional I have ever known. She has built a solid business that is hard and demanding. Yet, she is always attentive and kind, with a warm smile and deep concern for the people she treats.

After struggling with shoulder pain, I finally decided to try acupuncture after my friend recommended it and it has been a complete game-changer. Jeanny was incredibly attentive and skilled, creating a relaxing environment that put me at ease despite my initial needle anxieties.

Jeanny Chan has a very special gift and ability in using acupuncture for healing. Was suffering from pain in my right arm for months. Finding Jeanny was a gift that I gave myself and am on the way to be pain free. She is warm and caring, always working for the highest good for each client. Highly recommend her.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
