From the reviews

I came to Jag-One the first time about a year ago, and it is one of the best decisions I have ever made for my health. I was struggling with balance issues due to vertigo, and Abby’s care and expertise had me progressing the first week. When I came in with new challenges, she knew just what to do.

My experience at JAG PT has been excellent. The staff is helpful & knowledgeable. They’re available to discuss my progress & answer all questions & concerns. Alexa has been great. I’ve had no problem setting up appointments. FYI PT takes time to work, be patient and you will see positive results.

I truly feel like I’m part of a JAG-One family. I’m so thankful not only for a great ACL recovery but also for the amazing memories and friends I’ve made at JAG. Abby, Kayla and Maddie are the most passionate and knowledgeable people out there.

I have been going to the Berkeley Heights, NJ location for my surgery recovery from a root tear in my meniscus. That means it was torn off the bone. Maddie and her staff are tremendous and really have a great program!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
