From the reviews

My wife has been visiting Total Health for years, in fact, I think she has been there longest tenured client. I started visiting them on an off a few years ago. We both love the staff. They are super friendly and knowledgeable. It's very easy to make an appointment as they are very accommodating to our schedules.

A fantastic interdisciplinary practice. I have been going to chiropractors for over 35 years and Am very careful about who I get treatment from. I have had many injuries over the years that have affected various areas of my body that many practitioners have not been able to help me with, especially traditional…

I came to Dr. Tyminski after over a year of constant lower back and hip pain after trying various other remedies and starting to feel rather defeated by the relentlessness of the discomfort- BUT after just one short session, I was 70% better and after the second session a week later, I was completely pain-free.

I had another great experience at Total Health, my second time there. The first visit was for a knee issue, and this time, I returned for neck pain and stiffness. Dr. Dorn is exceptional. He not only eliminated my neck pain but also restored flexibility.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
