From the reviews
If you have an ailment of any kind, this is your place! Judita is amazing. She listens and knows what is going on, just by speaking to you, and then she knows how to treat your problems. I had acupuncture, moxibustion, Gua Sha, and cupping...all in one day.
Judita is amazing- I have severe scoliosis and constant back pain since childhood. I have had back surgery, cortisone injections, massage therapy, chiropractic, among a few. I had three sessions with her, and not only did she really listen, she made me feel like she really cared.
I had my back fused last August and have not been able to stand straight since. Juditha has been doing acupuncture, cupping and massage to help with the pain and getting me to stand straight. I am almost completely off my pain medication.
I came into Judy's office after a friend invited me to see about her services. I was suffering from intense sinus pain which I didn't expect to be treatable with acupuncture but I was open to try it along with a cupping massage as a way to generally bring me relief.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
