From the reviews

Hands down Yocelin is the best massage therapist! I’ve been seeing her for over a year now, and every session has been an incredible experience. She is extremely thoughtful and always applies the right technique based on what the body needs—whether it’s deep tissue massage hot stone massage, trigger point massage,…

★★★★★ — Jayakrishnan, Oct 2025

I can’t recommend Yocelin at Phoenix Migraine Relief enough. After surviving a traumatic brain injury and severe whiplash, I struggled to find a massage therapist who could safely and effectively support my recovery. Most were too aggressive, leaving me in more pain than when I arrived.

★★★★★ — Mixedbynic, Jul 2025

Yocelin is unique and one of a kind in her knowledge of TMJ and migraine care, and her massage skills are excellent. She always teaches me something new about my body and self-care each time I receive therapy. One of the best therapists in the country for this specialized treatment.

★★★★★ — David, Dec 2025

Yocelin is an exceptional therapist who provides top-quality care at a great price. She is very skilled in TMJ massage, and uses a mix of techniques to target neck, shoulder and jaw pain. I’ve had great relief from tension thanks to her expertise. Highly recommended!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
