From the reviews
Jake, is by far, the best personal Coach, Trainer and Physical Therapist I have worked with. I have been with him for over a year. Began with Jake when I hurt my shoulder; and I never stoped going even after I recovered. I realized that going to the gym with having no work out plan or schedule is very discouraging.
Total Motion Sports Therapy/Jake literally changed my life. At age 24 I had a back injury, going from a College Div 1 Athlete to not being able to walk without pain was debilitating.
Jake is a wizard! Unbelievably knowledgeable, educated, and has a genuine care for his patients. Takes the time to get to know your individual needs and concerns.
I’ve had a great experience with Total Motion Sports Therapy. Jake has helped me with physical therapy, hockey recovery, and ongoing knee issues related to my ACL. He’s knowledgeable, professional, and really understands how to help athletes stay active and ready to perform.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
