From the reviews
I cannot recommend this place enough! From the moment I walked in, the front desk staff was beyond kind and empathetic. I was in the middle of an insurance switch, and navigating medical care can be extremely frustrating, but they made me feel heard and supported instead of just another logistical problem to solve.
We went to the California rehabilitation and sports therapy Branch across the street from the reptile store on brookhurst Street in fountain valley. Very nice people. Very very nice location for us. Close to home.
This a long-awaited review. I have been to California Rehabilitation Fountain Valley twice, with the most recent during the past 5 months to rehab my bicep after surgery. This location was recommended by my sports medicine doctor and orthopedic surgeon.
I was considering a double disc replacement after years of debilitating low back spasms and nerve pain, and many rounds of PT without success. Sivan and her team pulled me out of the downward spiral and gave me my life back. I can’t thank them enough for giving me confidence in my body again.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
