Why Thrive Restorative Massage is listed — cupping is a treatment, not a Google category, so we only list a provider when there's real proof they offer it. Here's what we found: “Massage - $115 120 Minute Massage - $140 There is a cash discount of $10 per service . Rates are based on time , not the type of massage. I do not charge extra for services such as prenatal massage, deep tissue massage, cupping, hot stone…” source →

“I always feel soooooo much better after a very relaxing massage!”

From the reviews

Diane is so fantastic! I recommend all my friends to her because she really knows what she is doing and uses many techniques including cupping and hot rocks. I go at least monthly to get a massage from her and I will never go to someone else!

★★★★★ — Lyndsie, Jul 2021

I have known Dianne for about a year and she is a most conscientious therapist. I have a pretty messed up back and by having massage every three weeks or so I get along pretty well!!! She always seems to find spots I did not know hurt, but she knows how to work out the kinks!!!

★★★★★ — Barbara, May 2019

My new favorite masseuse! Extremely grateful for Thrive. The privacy, quality, and personal experience here is everything I wanted. From top to bottom, I loved everything about my massage. I will be back and would happily recommend her to anyone. Thank you!

Wonderful massage, Diane is very good at reading your body as she goes along. I didn’t have to say lighter or deeper pressure, she felt my body’s response and acted. Very good therapist!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
