From the reviews

I have been struggling with chronic headaches for the last six years, and began going to Heal Thrive Grow January of 2024. I have a long journey ahead of me, but I have had headache free days, which were non-existent before!

★★★★★ — Rachel, Mar 2024

Ileana is a master of her craft and the best acupuncturist I have ever found! She is also so pleasant to be around! We will never use anyone else! The office is beautiful, peaceful, and immaculate! SO glad she opened an office in Redmond! Love

★★★★★ — Bobbie, Oct 2024

I have been going to HGT for pain management and body work for over a year now. Can’t recommend their massage and acupuncture staff enough for healthy and happy living. I work in a physically demanding industry and it wouldn’t be possible without their help!

★★★★★ — Captain, Nov 2024

I have been going here for so long and Ileana and a few other practitioners that I have seen have been such a huge help in injury recovery! Also such a peaceful environment and everyone is so kind

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
